This position, which offers a blend of onsite and hybrid work arrangements, is based in Grand Rapids and necessitates a presence in the office for 2-3 days each week. An extensive corporate relocation package is also available for eligible candidates. This position will be responsible for leading the Product Engineering group within the Sustaining and Test organization. This role has overall accountability for team execution for all Product engineering duties for all Avionics North America products. This role provides technical leadership and assistance to the Product Engineering team to ensure they deliver on cost, quality, schedule, and technical goals. The Product Engineering team is responsible for all aspects of engineering support for products once they transition to production and in-service phases. The team is responsible for hands-on debug of electronics products and test equipment, leading root cause and corrective action investigations and executing product or test equipment changes for obsolescence and cost improvements. The Product Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading or supporting factory goals such as On-time Delivery, and First Time Yield along with strategic initiatives related to data analytics, lean, kaizen and diagnostics.
