About The Position

Product Engineering Manager for thyssenkrupp Crankshaft Company, LLC in Danville, Illinois. Duties include: oversee Product Engineering Department by developing customer quotes, project outlines, and products that meet customer specifications and regulatory standards; oversee team's daily project activities, including product engineering activities on new product development implementation; identify design changes, future product needs, and trends; support cost savings ideas related to product, including during quotation phase; oversee technical assessment of products to develop customer quote through APQP process; generate and issue performance reviews and approve time off; and develop and overseeing annual budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Industrial, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent foreign degree.
  • 5 years of work experience in a product development engineering position, or in a related engineering role, in the manufacturing industry.
  • 2 years of work experience with APQP process to handle new product implementation.
  • 2 years of work experience leading new product implementation for crankshafts and connecting rods.
  • 2 years of work experience leading design operation of crankshafts and connecting rods by coordinating with customer to revise crankshafts and connecting rods designs.
