Here’s the Gist: The Global Product Team is seeking a high potential, resourceful, hands-on Product Engineering Manager, Power Devices with exceptional leadership and project management skills. The candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing a diverse team of product engineers and technicians responsible for Device processing within our manufacturing line. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced, deadline-oriented manufacturing environment and work constructively with a cross-functional team of manufacturing personnel (Operations, Equipment, Integration, Yield and R&D Teams), engineers and technicians to improve yield and efficiencies across multiple products. This position will be based in Marcy, NY.

Requirements

Bachelors in Engineering or Sciences with prior leadership experience.
5 years Engineering experience in a Semi-Conductor Manufacturing environment troubleshooting equipment, material, or process impact on product quality and yield.
Strong background in 8D, 5Y, Fishbone, Fault Tree, Is-Is not and applying other troubleshooting methodologies on large data.
Strong organizational and planning abilities, independent thinking, attention to detail, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High energy, self-motivated attitude with strong communication skills and ability to interface effectively with coworkers of different backgrounds at every level of the company.
Experience recruiting, training, developing, and retaining a team of engineers

Responsibilities

Build, coach, and lead a diverse team of Product Engineers and Technicians.
Initiate, organize, and manage projects that positively impact costs and product yields while maintaining both near and long-term roadmaps.
Apply good engineering practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Own investigation, troubleshooting, and improvement of equipment impact on safety, quality, and cost of production processes.
Define and refine methods to increase process repeatability and control to achieve higher yields, lower costs, higher flexibility, lower variation, and a safe work environment.
Provide data analysis and understanding of the SiC manufacturing using databases and data analysis tools.
Provide engineering/technical direction and design support to project teams
