About The Position

We’re representing a venture-backed AI infrastructure startup building agent behavior monitoring (ABM) platforms that help companies deploy reliable, correct, and continuously improving AI agents in production. The company is tackling one of the most critical challenges in modern AI: ensuring agents behave safely, learn from real-world interactions, and scale without breaking customer trust. Backed by top-tier investors and operating out of San Francisco, the team is composed of exceptional engineers and researchers with deep backgrounds in AI, systems, and infrastructure. This is a high-agency environment where engineers work closely with customers, influence product direction, and see their work deployed directly into real production systems. As a Product Engineer , you’ll focus on building high-quality, full-stack product experiences for self-learning AI agents. This role blends engineering, product thinking, and customer collaboration, with a strong emphasis on user experience and rapid iteration.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in product or full-stack engineering at tech startups (Seed to Series E).
• Strong proficiency across the stack, particularly with TypeScript .
• Experience building product-facing features with attention to usability and design quality.
• Comfortable working closely with designers and customers.
• High agency — able to identify problems, propose solutions, and ship independently.
• Passion for AI agents, agent reliability, or applied AI systems.
• Technical undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience at a product-first or AI/agent-native company.
• Frontend-leaning full-stack experience.
• Prior work at fast-moving startups known for product quality.
• Familiarity with AI, ML systems, or agent-based products (not required, but a plus).

Responsibilities

• Design and build thoughtful, high-taste user experiences across the product.
• Develop core full-stack features using TypeScript, including frontend, backend, and database work.
• Collaborate closely with designers to refine user flows based on customer feedback.
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and pitch new product ideas.
• Experiment with new features and technologies, rapidly prototyping and demoing ideas to the team.
• Contribute to product design reviews, ensuring usability, clarity, and polish.
• Ship features end-to-end that make a direct impact on how AI agents behave in production.
