About The Position

Product Development Engineer – Wickenburg, AZ BearCat Manufacturing builds equipment for the asphalt roadbuilding industry and is seeking a hands‑on Product Development Engineer to design, improve, and support products from concept through production. What You’ll Do • Design new products and improve existing equipment • Create 3D models, drawings, and BOMs in SolidWorks • Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost • Lead multiple engineering projects • Work directly with production to solve shop‑floor issues • Improve product performance, safety, and reliability

Requirements

• 5+ years in manufacturing with strong mechanical skills
• 5+ years SolidWorks (parametric modeling, assemblies)
• Experience with machining, welding, sheet metal, inspection tools
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Nice To Haves

• SolidWorks surfaces & sheet metal
• Welding, tooling, or fixture design
• Basic electronics, hydraulics, or pneumatics
