About The Position

In this role you will: Support a single product line which could include either Low Voltage Assemblies, Low Voltage Motor Control Centers, Medium Voltage Assemblies or Medium Voltage Switchgear. Prepare Bills of Material and CAD drawings, including control schematics and wiring diagrams, which shop personnel follow to build into a completed product meeting the customer requirement. Maintain engineering schedule to ensure drawings are released and parts are ordered in time to support the Production build schedule. Maintain good working relationships with Power Center Production team, Product Applications Engineers, Supply Chain, customers, distributors and Provide technical support for customers and plant personnel. Support Warranty Technician and investigate warranty requests to determine root cause and solution to help customer. Actively drive and participate in a culture of “Safety First”. Support product line quality, using and modifying quality check sheets, peer review processes, and NCR Root Cause/Corrective Action investigations. Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. Must have experience with AutoCad, Inventor or similiar related software. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Wilsonville, OR facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. At least 1 year of professional experience in support of manufacturing through assignments in sales, inventory control, clerical, or production. Position Criteria: Familiarity with digital logic, control schematics, and/or PLC concepts. Experience designing and applying power distribution and/or motor control equipment. Prior engineering experience through internships or assignments in a manufacturing setting. Experience with power distribution and familiarity with control schematics. Proficient with Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks.
