About The Position

REXA, Inc is seeking a Product Engineer to develop actuator order and quote packages that capture the scope of supply, technical requirements, and all necessary details to produce a finished product. Scope of work includes creating all drawings, designing the adaptation hardware, adding customized accessories, generating a bill of materials and creating any instruction to the production floor. The Product Engineer will provide effective technical support to both internal and external customers as required on a job specific basis.

Requirements

Entry level
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Proficiency with Solidworks
Ability to use Microsoft Office
Ability to use ERP system for BOM generation and creation of new parts
Possesses good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to technically communicate and execute concepts and ideas with cross functional team

Responsibilities

Develop actuator production packages to meet the order specification sheet
Process orders with limited complexity under management/mentorship
Utilize CAD design software to create customer specific actuator layout drawings
Utilize of CAD design software to create custom adaptation hardware and components
Generate bill of materials
Generate special assembly or testing instructions for operations
Interface with manufacturing to assist in the assembly and manufacturing of actuator packages
Process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
