SFR3 is a boutique real estate investment fund managing $2B+ of affordable single-family homes. We own 10K homes across 20 states, and rely on software-driven operations to lease, collect, maintain, turn and profit from each and every one. You are a hands-on operator who has plied your trade by actually building workflows, agents, and products that drive operations – not reading Tweets Xits about it. You know success, quantify it, and cherish starting your day by checking on it. You are at home in a technical environment, straddling the line between BizOps & Product. Your decisions and ideas are backed by data and analysis, but you have an exceptionally strong bias — you learn by shipping. You sling AI-assisted no-code/light-code into the ether at a rate that has the CTO slightly concerned and the CFO quietly delighted. You've scaffolded more apps in Claude Code and Replit Agent than most engineers have in their IDE of choice. Automated workflows that just run excite you unreasonably. You treat every manual process as a personal affront and every spreadsheet as a future agent. Deep down, you know that crontab is still the fastest way to schedule anything — but you also know an LLM with tool use is the fastest way to handle everything between the schedules. Your Mandate Build an excellent business, AI-augmented business. You will partner with operational leaders with dozens of years of experience to identify areas where technical leverage — particularly AI agents, intelligent automation, and model-driven workflows — can step-change the way things run. You understand how & where rails, agents, and copilots can make a difference; when to build on our stack vs. buy & integrate; when to reach for an LLM vs. a rules engine; and when a well-prompted agent replaces a six-month roadmap item. Things you might work on include: Optimizing the utilization of our maintenance workforce (TSP with Windows) Re-inventing the process from move out to move in to make it lightning fast Detecting anomalies in vendor payments Building a team focused on identifying and preventing churn
