About The Position

FOX Factory designs, engineers, manufactures and markets performance-defining products and systems for customers worldwide. Our premium brand, performance-defining products and systems are used primarily on bicycles, side-by-side vehicles, on-road vehicles with and without off-road capabilities, off-road vehicles and trucks, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, specialty vehicles and applications, motorcycles, and commercial trucks. Some of our products are specifically designed for and marketed to a variety of leading cycling and powered vehicle original equipment manufacturers ("OEMs"), while others are distributed to consumers through a global dealer and distribution network. Position Summary: Designs, develops, tests, evaluates and modifies products applying technical principles.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant product development technical experience
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer

Responsibilities

  • Conducts engineering studies on design for products, associated and subsystems components, and structures.
  • Analyzes engineering proposals, process requirements, and related technical data pertaining to product development.
  • Uses computer-assisted engineering software and equipment.
  • Analyzes product specifications and performance requirements to determine designs that can be produced by existing manufacturing facilities and methods.
  • Analyzes test data and reports to determine if product meets functional and performance specifications.
  • Works with research and other engineering personnel to prepare product modifications as required.
  • Studies engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technological changes and developments in industry.
  • Assists in the development of preparations of product layout and detailed drawings and schematics.
  • Runs up to five projects concurrently with significant oversight from management or more senior engineering staff.
