Career that Changes Lives In this role, you will lead a high-performing team of program managers driving complex, cutting-edge research and development initiatives within Medtronic’s ENT Operating Unit. You will shape and refine the program management methodology—building the systems, processes, and best practices that enable consistent, high-quality execution. As the owner of governance for New Product Development, you will guide teams through critical decision points, monitor performance metrics, and ensure alignment across the organization. ENT development programs operate at a high level of complexity, requiring coordination across large, multidisciplinary teams. Through strategic delegation and empowerment, you will enable program managers to lead cross-functional teams—from concept through commercialization—ensuring successful execution, innovation, and delivery of impactful solutions that advance patient care. Supervisory Relationships: This role directly leads a diverse team across program management disciplines, which may include Senior Program Managers, Program Managers, Senior PMO Managers, PMO Managers, Project Managers, and Program Specialists. The leader in this role is responsible for driving performance, fostering ownership and accountability, developing talent, promoting engagement and inclusion, communicating business and operational priorities, and guiding team planning, prioritization, and execution. Success in this position depends on both effective leadership of direct reports and the ability to influence cross-functional teams within and beyond the ENT operating unit. A core responsibility is people leadership—mentoring, coaching, and developing staff to meet and exceed performance expectations and defined objectives. This leader provides strong motivational direction and operates with a high degree of autonomy.
