This position will support one or more active innovation, renovation projects, developing nutritional and wellness products covering gummies, chewable and powder formats.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of food science principles and comfortable working with lab/bench scale experiments and prototype creation.
  • A self-starter, result-oriented, analytical, innovative, intellectually curious and takes initiative.
  • Ability to learn quickly, embrace change, and thrive in a fast-paced, environment.
  • Excellent in communication (both written and verbal), collaborates well with others and excels in a team environment.
  • Comfortable with basic data analysis in excel or other tools (tables, charts, etc) for presenting conclusions.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Food Science / Chemical Engineering, Chemistry and related fields
  • Onsite internship at NPTC Bridgewater, starting May 26th, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Literature search (internal and external data bases)
  • Understand ingredient interactions & effectiveness at various usage levels
  • Plan and execute trials at lab/bench and/or pilot plant scale. This may include design of experiments
  • Collaborate with analytical lab and sensory team to assess impact of ingredients on final product
  • Analyze data from lab and pilot trials and develop conclusions from trials
  • Present findings and recommendations via presentations and project reports
