About The Position
The Product Development Intern supports the New Product Development (NPD) team with day-to-day coordination, documentation, and prototype-related tasks. This role is designed for a student interested in product development and seeking hands-on experience in prototyping, testing, and cross-functional collaboration. The intern will assist with ongoing projects while learning how products move from concept through testing and implementation.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Product Design, or a related field

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Interest in product development, manufacturing, energy, construction, or innovation for the aforementioned
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized
Responsibilities
- Assist with organizing and updating prototype task lists and documentation
- Help track prototype schedules, deliverables, and basic project updates
- Support coordination between internal teams and external vendors
- Maintain and organize product development documentation and files
- Assist with prototype builds and basic testing activities (as applicable)
- Help prepare status updates, summaries, and reports for the team
- Participate in team meetings and take notes/action items
- Perform other duties as assigned
