Role Overview: We are looking for a curious, resourceful, and proactive intern to join the Product team for the summer. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of product documentation, quality assurance, and AI enablement — giving you real exposure to how enterprise supply chain software is built, tested, and explained to users.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
Strong writing skills — you can explain technical concepts in plain language
You are genuinely curious — you like understanding how things work, not just what they do
You are not afraid to ask questions or knock on doors to get clarity; you don’t let ambiguity stop you
You are comfortable trying new tools and figuring things out as you go
You are a clear communicator — in writing, especially, since much of this role is about making complex things easy to understand

Nice To Haves

Experience with documentation tools (Confluence, Notion, Google Docs) or project tracking tools (Jira) is a plus
Familiarity with AI tools and interest in how they are applied in business contexts is a bonus

Responsibilities

Writing clear, structured help articles and how-to guides for GAINS products (SCA, VRO, etc)
Organizing and improving existing Confluence pages to make knowledge more discoverable
Creating content that directly feeds our AI applications with richer context — your work will make our tools smarter
Recording and documenting testing sessions to create reusable reference materials for the team and customers
Getting familiar with GAINS tools through guided exploration and self-directed learning
Helping execute test cases and document results in a clear, structured way
Identifying gaps or inconsistencies between product behavior and existing documentation
Recording test walkthroughs to create repeatable test artifacts for the product team
Partnering with the Supply Chain Design Operations Analyst to understand how GAINS products are used in real customer workflows — this is your primary day-to-day collaborator for process learning
Sitting in on product, engineering, and Applied Research Group conversations, design reviews, and product discussions to build context you can’t get from reading alone
Asking questions — lots of them. We actively want someone who will knock on doors (virtual or otherwise) to get the answers they need
