Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree within an accredited program seeking degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 3.0 GPA or higher on 4.0 GPA scale, strongly preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
• Knowledge of Python tools( Including Pytorch), GitHub, and machine learning.
• Enjoys coding and building robust applications and interfaces for engineering use.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build python ( and other codes as needed) applications to support engineering development of Shape products.
• Develop automated workflows for the creation of FEA models.
• Build applications to automate the creation of simulation reports
• Improve machine learning models
• Integrate LLM with python tools
• Help build data search tools and visualization dashboards for CAE and test data.
• Support integration of ML models into internal GUI tools (Tkinter-based) used by engineers
• Work with large datasets from simulations and physical tests to clean, organize, and transform data
• Additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, not otherwise specified in this position description.
