Product Development Assistant

Supported by a team of professionals skilled in design, sourcing, production, sales, marketing & distribution of premium quality children’s wear, Haddad distributes globally to 100+ countries and maintains sales and sourcing offices in 22 cities globally, including New York, Paris, Hilversum, Shanghai, Egypt, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Montreal. Overview: The Product Development Assistant will support the Product Development Manager in all aspects of the product development process for the Clubs and Levi’s Signature business and work cross-functionally to ensure consistent and accurate workflow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in related field and/or strong internship experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Consistent in-office presence is vital to the role as it is for all Haddad Brands team members, so that we all have a full appreciation, aesthetically and tactilely, of the qualities that define our brand partners’ products and set them apart from their competitors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Product Catalog, request updates and oversee detail accuracy for multiple categories & brands
- Initiate and track Signature product updates and specialized requests
- Coordinate retailer product approvals
- Attend cross-functional seasonal strategy meetings
- Join Order Hand-off meetings
- Coordinate market prep with Sales team partners including sample requests/coordination
- Prepare market materials as needed
- Coordinate Brand/Merch communication
- Manage retailer research decks & comp samples
- Maintain retailer historical samples
- Build working relationship across teams to coordinate accurate information and quickly respond to business needs
- Support Product Development Manager as needed
- Special projects as assigned
