About The Position

Coupang Intelligence Cloud (CIC) is Coupang’s intelligent cloud platform that provides cloud-native services and AI-powered tools for developers, data scientists, and business teams. CIC accelerates innovation across Coupang and external clients by enabling seamless access to enterprise-grade infrastructure, large-scale data processing, and machine learning model operations. As a CIC Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the end-to-end experience of cloud and AI-based products. You will transform complex technical concepts—such as data pipelines, machine learning workflows, APIs, and dashboards—into intuitive and user-friendly experiences, empowering developers, data scientists, and business units to derive maximum value from the CIC platform. This role goes beyond screen design, encompassing product strategy, feature definition, user research, and data-driven validation to deliver meaningful product and business impact.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of total professional experience in UX/UI design.

Nice To Haves

• Experience designing for cloud platforms, developer tools, or AI/ML products
• Expertise in designing data visualization and analytics products (e.g., dashboards, BI tools)
• Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale design systems
• Understanding of technical processes such as APIs, data pipelines, and workflow tools
• Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments
• Design leadership and mentoring experience
• Proficiency in Korean is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead the full UX/UI design process for CIC platforms and services
• Identify and improve user needs through research, interviews, and testing
• Create user journeys, personas, wireframes, prototypes, and visual design deliverables
• Design intuitive UI/UX for complex data visualizations, dashboards, and analytics tools
• Build and manage a scalable design system applicable across CIC
• Continuously improve products through A/B testing, user feedback, and log analysis
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, data, and business teams
• Monitor and enhance user experience post-launch
