About The Position
2026 Auctane Summer Internship Program: Please read before applying Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate university program. Students graduating in May 2026 are not eligible for the program Duration: Paid, 9-week internship Schedule: 40 hours per week, with the exception of the week of July 4th. Program Dates: June 9, 2025 — First day of onsite orientation August 13, 2025 — Final day of the program Location: Hybrid role based in Austin, TX In-office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Remote: Monday and Friday Interviews: Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis through March 31st This is an internship role within the Product department.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Figma
- Basic understanding of design systems and best practices
- A curious and collaborative attitude
Nice To Haves
- Located in or near the Austin, Texas area
- Experience conducting research and interviews
- Experience in using AI inside design workflows
- Strong visual design skills
Responsibilities
- Creating user-centered designs through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Using AI tools to speed up ideation, generate design variations, and support research
- Collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers across the product lifecycle
- Participating in user research and usability testing, and turning insights into design recommendations
- Preparing design assets and specifications for development handoff
- Reviewing user data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
