Program Overview Stats Perform summer internship program is a paid 8 week full-time internship. Interns work together and individually within the organization to gain valuable experience and make an impact in sports technology. Not only will Stats Perform Interns have hands on experience in their field of study but there are awesome perks too! There will be activities, training sessions with other Stats Perform employees, and an end-of-summer presentation.
Position Overview Stats Perform is seeking an energetic and passionate product design intern to join the Product Design Team this summer. The intern will gain valuable exposure to a wide-range of projects related to UX/UI design. As a Product Design Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced product designers and gain hands-on exposure to real projects across our sports technology products.

Requirements

• An interest in product design, UX/UI design, or digital design
• Some experience using Figma or similar design tools (through coursework, personal projects, or internships)
• A basic understanding of user-centred design (no expert knowledge required)
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and try new things
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• An interest in technology and digital products
• No previous professional experience required

Responsibilities

• Support designers on real product design projects, from early ideas through to final designs
• Help create wireframes, simple prototypes, and design concepts using tools like Figma
• Assist with user research, such as reviewing feedback, helping prepare usability tests, or summarising findings
• Learn how to design for real users and real constraints, including accessibility and usability
• Work with product managers and engineers to understand how design fits into the wider product process
• Take part in design reviews and critiques, learning how to talk about your work and receive feedback
• Help document design decisions and keep design files organised
