Product Data Manager
About The Position
The Product Data Manager is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving product data quality across Heritage businesses operating on the Epicor Eclipse platform. This role enables the strategic vision that a defined percentage of products within Eclipse are consistently maintained with accurate pricing and critical attribute data. The Product Data Manager will efficiently manage assigned product lines by defining standards, implementing tools, and executing processes that ensure pricing accuracy and the consistent population of key product attributes such as descriptions, weights, purchase multiples, units of measure, images, and specification links. Timely updates of pricing will be paramount and maintaining accurate and unique product identifiers that integrate with external data sources is essential to the success of this role.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of IT Operation or Related Experience
- ERP systems for distribution environments
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail

- Epicor Eclipse ERP experience preferred, Eclipse PDW experience a plus
- Python knowledge preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the ERP strategic team and business stakeholders to establish product data standards and develop processes to monitor and enforce adherence to those standards
- Define and execute a practical, prioritized roadmap for product data improvement, with a primary focus on unique identifiers, price update strategy, and enforcement mechanisms
- Ensure timely and accurate pricing updates for assigned product lines, utilizing the Eclipse Product Data Warehouse (PDW) as the primary mechanism to update product price basis fields
- Design, build yourself or through internal resources, or identify third-party tools to streamline and automate product data management processes
- Develop and maintain a prioritized list of product lines to be added to the Eclipse PDW, with the objective of eliminating manual non-stock product creation
- Define, build, and maintain reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into product data health for assigned lines to leadership and business partners
- Execute product data improvement initiatives as identified by the business such as duplicate product identification and merging, overlapping line consolidation, and product description standardization
