About The Position

Product Data Analyst – Denver, CO Are you passionate about solving problems through data? Do you have experience determining growth opportunities by systematically looking at a series of metrics? If you have a track record of driving product success through data analysis and consumer centric thinking and have a bias for action, then it’s time to join Western Union’s Digital Product team as a Product Data Analyst. Western Union powers your pursuit As a product data analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to guide business and product decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • You will need to be a graduate in engineering, statistics, data science and/ or an MBA.
  • You will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics
  • You will have hands on experience in data analysis using one or more analytical tools such as Amplitude, Adobe Analytics, AppsFlyr, PowerBI, etc
  • You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • You’ll have a strong interest in digital products.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in digital space such as e-commerce or financial services or fintech industry is a plus
  • Experience in product management is a plus

Responsibilities

  • You will be the go to person for anything data for your products.
  • You will be the expert in all analytical tools used at Western Union, building deep sensitivity for data accuracy
  • You will collect, analyze, and interpret data to deliver insights that can enhance product performance, user experience, and customer satisfaction.
  • You will build a thorough understanding of Western Union’s customer journey.
  • You will use that understanding to deep dive into various performance metrics, identifying customer pain points and product opportunities
  • You will create, maintain and update dashboards and reports to track key product metrics of new product launches and feature updates.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders across cross-functional teams and ensure clear communication on product performance.
  • You will govern Western Union’s key data tools for accurate data recording and reporting.
