About The Position

The Product Costing Manager will assist the current Product Costing Manager during their training period as the company transitions to S4HANA. This role focuses on managing the product costing process, ensuring accurate standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.

Requirements

• 4 - 5 years of finance, accounting, or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Exceptional SAP product costing process management experience.
• Experience in the consumer packaged goods or manufacturing industry.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and cross-functionally.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Strong planning and organizing skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong analytical and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Product Costing Manager with the standard cost creation process for all domestic materials.
• Support the annual standards-setting process and training.
• Coordinate with the product supply organization to ensure accurate standards and reduce supply chain errors.
• Support internal controls for product costing by coaching and reviewing the work of analysts.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Act as the point of contact for costing controls in the absence of the Product Costing Manager.
• Support product costing business continuity efforts.
• Oversee monthly production order WIP/Error clearing.
• Provide financial reviews for profit centers.
• Assist in developing supply chain finance forecast calendars.
