About The Position

Receives palletized or crated product and organizes by type using a pallet jack, loading trucks based on load sheets, scanning products, inventory checks, and bin audits. May also move or stack product by hand to boxes or crates. May stretch-wrap stacks or pallets by hand or machine as needed. May require using hands to grip a metal case hook to occasionally pull or push heavy stacks of milk weighing up to 330lbs across diamond plate platform; must be physically able to lift up to 75lbs on occasion. Work is conducted in a cold environment which averages 35 degrees Fahrenheit. Checks temperatures and completes paperwork. Other duties as assigned. Requires the ability to speak, read and understand English. Heavy labor experience in a similar environment is preferred.

Requirements

Basic speaking, reading and writing in English for paperwork and computer training purposes
The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear and taste or smell.
The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop.
The employee must regularly push, pull; lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Employment is contingent upon results of a post-offer background check, drug test, functional assessment and physical.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a warehouse environment that has experience using material handling equipment
Heavy labor experience in a similar environment is preferred.
