Co-op: An 8-month long opportunity, Co-op positions are a full-time employment experience. Co-ops are fully immersed into the worlds of corporate and production industry as a full-time team member. Internship: A semester long opportunity, Internships positions are a part-time employment experience. With the opportunity to extend multiple semesters, Interns tap into the foundations of our corporate and production industries. Co-op and Intern opportunities span across 18 of Bobcat’s different functions.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Chemical, Material, Metallurgical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance: Contribute to sustainability efforts such as metals recycling and responsible material use.
  • Assist with process development, supplier engagement, project management, and AI Integration.
  • Support existing projects involving material analysis, battery and engine compliance, and sustainability.
  • Analyze industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to product compliance and sustainability.
  • Research and monitor current and emerging national and international laws, regulations, and certification requirements to support planning, product launches, and compliance across key markets.
  • Data Management and Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze data related to chemical usage, emissions, industry standards, and extended producer responsibility.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases to support compliance and sustainability efforts.
  • Generate reports and summaries to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Product Sustainability: Assist in the development and implementation of product sustainability strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to product sustainability.
