The Ops Compliance group is responsible for product, packaging, and supply chain compliance in each of these segments as defined by regulatory, industry and/or customer requirements. What you'll be doing: Support existing Product Compliance programs for NVIDIA operations to ensure NVIDIA and suppliers satisfy our internal and external requirements. Support Product Compliance initiatives to fulfill requirements for Global WEEE Reporting, Conflict Minerals, Business Continuity and the Responsible Business Alliance. Ensure compliance for New Product Introduction and roll in compliance plans for existing products. This role involves collaborating with Product Engineering, Creative, Packaging, and Sales. Handle customer requests for data, contract review, and compliance documentation, providing solutions and mentorship that go above and beyond. Support supplier Quarterly Business Reviews and risk mitigation efforts based on environmental and sustainability criteria for critical/strategic suppliers. Identify and support process improvement opportunities for compliance procedures covering components, final products, packaging, and the manufacturing network. Ensure these processes align with requirements covering RoHS, REACH, PFAS, ELV, RBA, RSIP, WEEE, Low Halogen, Forced labor, Security, Trade, and Conflict Minerals. Support compliance programs to meet obligations for Digital Product Passport, including coordinating with key collaborators on Product Carbon Footprint, Power/Energy Efficiency, Ecodesign, Reuse, Repair, Maintenance, Quality, Reliability, Presence of Substances of Concern, and End Of Life recyclability. Collaborate with new and existing suppliers and manufacturing partners to improve awareness and support of NVIDIA's product and sustainability compliance programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience (Environmental, Chemical or Materials preferred)
  • 5+ Years of experience in the Tech Industry.
  • Proficient understanding of regulations to anticipate regulatory direction for industry compliance.
  • Solid understanding of ISO Management Systems and audits such as ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO14064, ISO45001, ISO50001, ISO22301, ISO27001, and ISO Lead Auditor.
  • High-level ability to coordinate with different departments within the company to complete project achievements, including engineering, legal, procurement, sales, IT, infosec, prodsec, creative, and marketing.
  • Interpret customer requirements and resolve their applicability to NVIDIA Operations and Manufacturing Supply Chain.
  • Ability to detail and coordinate files for compliance, audits, and future reference.
  • Self-motivated and driven with minimal need for direction.
  • Able to recognize ongoing chances to improve efficiency and to address any gaps identified internally or within the supply chain.
