About The Position

As a Product Application Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our Residential and Commercial HVAC customers by providing expert product and application guidance through the Lennox Technical Support Call Center. Working under general supervision, you’ll assist dealers, contractors, engineers, code officials, and field sales teams with moderately complex product inquiries. C onsults and provides assistance related to the proper application of residential & commercial HVAC equipment. Analyzes & identifies problems with Lennox equipment or applications and recommend appropriate corrective action. Answers technical questions related to the equipment or equipment specifications. Provides application details necessary to select, design and install equipment. Document the call information into the call-tracking database in the event additional follow-up is required. Identifies and helps implement process improvements.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 1 year related experience.
  • Training or experience in the application and installation of heating and air conditioning equipment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple technical requests.
  • Have familiarity with national building, safety, installation and applications codes for HVAC equipment.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD Design software preferred.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
