About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B) to join our dynamic team in New Orleans, LA. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Shift: 2nd shift: 2:00p-10:30p

Requirements

• High School / GED Diploma is required
• Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
• Experience working or inspecting to non-conformance work orders
• Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar (QMS) Quality Management System standard

Responsibilities

• Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements
• Provides objective evidence of results
• Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring
• Identifies and documents discrepancies
• Segregates and controls non-conforming items
• Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance
• Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification
• Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action
