Requirements

  • Must be an independent self-starter who is able to sell and develop strong business-to-business relationships
  • Confident professional not afraid of cold-calling and developing new business
  • 3+ years of previous business-to-business sales experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Required to obtain the appropriate state licensing within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines
  • Good listening skills and ability to determine clients’ needs efficiently

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial Insurance sales experience highly preferred
  • Existing insurance licensure and/or industry designations
  • Experience selling to a specific industry a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for business based on local networks, connections, and communities across all product lines (personal, commercial, employee benefits, and other coverages)
  • Ensure client satisfaction as the cornerstone of superior customer service
  • Conduct sales, service, and solicitation of all forms of insurance business
  • Maximize growth and client retention through superior customer service
  • Develop accounts and cross sell available products and services
  • Generate and pursue new client opportunities
  • Present services and solutions at prospect meetings
  • Bring new business prospects to closure
  • Retain clients by maintaining solid business-to-business relationships
