About The Position

As the #1 station in the market, we have a winning culture and we’re looking for
people who want to join a highly motivated and talented team. We’re a
fast-paced newsroom emphasizing investigative reporting and breaking news and
weather coverage. The successful candidate will be able to identify the "big
story" of the day and understand what makes an impactful newscast with a focus
on strong writing and showcasing skills. While this position will focus on
producing live TV newscasts, there will also be opportunity to create content
for our digital platforms.

Requirements

• Prior experience producing TV newscasts
• Strong broadcast and digital writing skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a high pressure environment with staff of all levels
• Must lead by example at all times
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or mass communications
• Ability to occasionally shift schedule on short notice
