About The Position

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a talented and experienced Producer based in Miami. This position will be responsible for working on the daily production of news and other shows for Univision Noticias Live. The producer in this role will be required to work on the daily news rundown, story placement, editorial input and writing. In addition, the successful candidate needs to execute timing of live shows and interviews and make last-minute decisions. Quick reaction to breaking news and possible news updates. Planning and production of special news coverage, reports and development of daily news graphics including informational banners. The candidate should maintain good and clear communication with managers as well as the show’s executive producer, anchors, production team, assignment desk and technical crews.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as segment producer for live news program or line producing capacity, with demonstrated ability to work in a control room
• Strong research and writing skills
• Working knowledge of INews.
• Strong creative vision and have good editorial judgement
• Strong understanding of Hispanic market, specifically within Entertainment
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
• Detail oriented with strong organization skills
• PC proficient (Microsoft Office)
• Bilingual in English/Spanish verbal and written skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be willing to work from Miami, FL
• Employment/education will be verified
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, and sit for up to (8) hours

Responsibilities

• Research, write and produce new stories
• Create and develop original content for program
• Work closely with executive producer on developing the rundown of the program
• Manage line production for live or taped show
• Work closely with Talent in the production of the program
• Book interesting guests for the shows as needed
