About The Position

Position Purpose Monitor, enforce, and support the execution of the division merchandising plan for the assigned department across designated stores. Train, coach, oversee, and develop store teams to ensure consistent, high‑quality merchandising and operational performance. Key Accountabilities Store Support & Merchandising Execution Travel to assigned stores to work with Department Managers and staff, sharing merchandising plans designed to achieve sales, gross profit, and labor targets. Work alongside and counsel Department Managers and Store Directors on all aspects of product merchandising and customer service. Visit stores regularly to evaluate overall department presentation, cleanliness, compliance, and adherence to company merchandising programs and standards. Execute division merchandising plans by conducting store visits, reviewing progress toward goals, and observing department conditions. Performance Measurement & Evaluation Measure store‑level performance through department sales, gross profit, and labor percentage results. Determine the effectiveness of training programs by reviewing evaluations and assessing results. Provide input to the Store Director regarding Department Manager performance. Training, Coaching & Development Provide work guidance to store associates on product knowledge, sales and marketing techniques, understanding profit and loss, and compliance with company policies. Train Department Managers on business fundamentals and the operational requirements of managing their department.
