About The Position

The Produce/Clerk role is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service and maintaining a safe and clean environment to encourage customer returns. This position assists the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals, monitors quality assurance standards, embraces the Customer 1st strategy, and encourages associates to deliver excellent customer service. The role also requires demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Smith’s Food and Drug, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and now serves customers in over 140 stores across Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming.
