About The Position

The Produce/Asst Dept Leader is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, establishing and maintaining a safe, clean environment, achieving sales and profit goals, and controlling quality assurance standards within the Produce department. This role also involves monitoring all functions, duties, and activities related to the department and demonstrating the company's core values. Qualify Food Centers (QFC), based in Washington, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and now serves customers in 59 stores across Washington and Oregon. Responsibilities

  • Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
  • Establish and maintain a safe, clean environment that encourages our customers to return.
  • Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department.
  • Control all established quality assurance standards.
  • Monitor all functions, duties and activities related to the Produce department.
