About The Position

We are currently executing many contracts, performing work that is essential to our clients' missions across a broad range of functional areas. We are looking for a Team Oriented Subcontract Administrator who has a working knowledge of Federal Construction Contracting and procurement requirements. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to be part of a team of Contracts and Procurement Professionals who are driven to provide exceptional service to our Government client in the Idaho Falls, ID area. Responsibilities will include: Performing subcontracting or paralegal functions in support of; Construction, Mechanical Equipment, Excavation, General Services, etc. in the Federal Contracting environment. Perform assignments of varying scope and of moderate complexity following established policies and procedures. Ability to work in a Team Environment with shifting priorities that may include extended hours, (As Needed & Approved), to support project schedules. With the guidance of senior staff, responsible for cradle to grave procurement administration of federal and/or commercial construction related procurement actions; review requisitions, prepare RFPs, conduct bid abstracts, conduct negotiations, prepare purchase orders and subcontracts and administer complex services-type subcontracts. Ability to be “Proactive” and “Forward Looking” when developing and administering subcontracts. With oversight of senior staff, support proposal preparation activities to clients. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline with 5 or more years of relevant experience - OR- 10 years' relevant experience and High School Diploma/GED in lieu of Bachelor's is acceptable.
  • Contracts experience
  • USA citizenship (dual citizens allowed)
  • Strong Computer skills: Excel, WORD, Microsoft Outlook email
  • Above average writing skills need to be logical and succinct.

Nice To Haves

  • Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) experience
  • Familiarity with federal and commercial procurement guidelines and regulations.
  • Industrial Construction experience is desired
  • Some paralegal experience could be helpful
  • Experience administering large complex Federal Construction type contracts.
  • Previous legal contracts experience
