Procurement Specialist
About The Position
TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team! The Procurement Specialist ensures the organization receives the right goods and services, at the right time, for the right total cost. You’ll own the full sourcing life-cycle—supplier research, RFx development, negotiations, contracting, and ongoing supplier performance management—while partnering with stakeholders in engineering, operations, finance, and legal to keep projects on budget and risk in check. Requirements
- High school diploma
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and procedures
- 3+ years working in Supply Chain Management/Procurement
- Must have strong Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP
Nice To Haves
- Procurement experience desired
- Experience in mobile network construction desired
Responsibilities
- Calculate materials required by analyzing construction schedules, bills of material and existing supply
- Submit Requests for price and lead-time quotes to external vendors (domestic and international)
- Generate purchase orders in SAP ERP and Samsung's Resource Management System (RMS)
- Follow-up with vendors to expedite delivery of materials and identify potential cost savings
- Escalate material shortages to management team
