Common App is currently searching for a Procurement Specialist. RESPONSIBILITIES As a member of the Procurement team, and reporting to the Director of Procurement, this position will be responsible for acquiring goods and services essential for the organization's operations at the best possible value, while ensuring quality, reliability, and timely delivery. The Procurement Specialist will manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from identifying needs and sourcing suppliers to contract negotiation, purchase order creation, and post-purchase follow-up.

Requirements

  • Candidates must live in the United States.
  • Willing to travel to attend twice annual Common App Retreat.
  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or relevant field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced Technical Skills: Demonstrates mastery of E- Procurement platforms for managing requisitions, purchase orders, invoicing, and contract compliance.Expertise in aggregating, cleansing, and categorizing organizational spending data to identify opportunities for cost savings and consolidation
  • Negotiation: Strong ability to analyze procurement data, evaluate supplier proposals, identify trends, and make informed recommendations to support decision-making
  • Communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills.
