Requirements

• Critical and strategic thinking
• Ability to obtain quotes and place purchase orders
• Ability to source new vendors to increase value across quality, delivery, and cost
• Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and maintain relationships with preferred vendors
• Ability to resolve performance challenges such as quality and delivery issues
• Strong working knowledge of current materials and appropriate vendor sources
• Sound judgment when determining optimal quantities, substitute materials, and similar decisions
• Strong time management skills to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Open mindset

Responsibilities
