Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with suppliers.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all procurement activities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and a systematic approach to work.
  • Willingness to stay updated with industry developments and continuously improve processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the company's purchasing processes, including creating and maintaining a robust supplier database.
  • Develop and implement efficient procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, aiming for the best possible terms and conditions.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Monitor and track procurement activities, generating reports and providing insights to management.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, resolving any issues or delays promptly.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
