About The Position

The Enterprise Operations SEMAC organization has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Professional dedicated to the acquisition of materials for specific LM programs and Suppliers. The position will be responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on medium-to-high-risk, performance specification, commercial and build-to-print subcontracts for DOD programs and assigned Subcontractors. Working with program personnel and other areas of the business. This position will require the individual to manage commodities with moderate complexity and a high volume of purchase requisitions. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience
  • 1 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree

  • Experience with the procurement of specialized materials, components and hardware within Defense industry
  • Working knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as LMAP and FAR/DFAR acquisition policies

Responsibilities

  • Management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on medium-to-high-risk, performance specification, commercial and build-to-print subcontracts for DOD programs and assigned Subcontractors
  • Preparation of bid packages
  • Analyzing and evaluating proposals
  • Performing price analysis
  • Commercial Item Documentation
  • Subcontract/PO documentation and placement
  • Invoice reconciliation
  • Negotiating and coordinating additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts
  • Working with program personnel and other areas of the business
  • Manage commodities with moderate complexity and a high volume of purchase requisitions
