By applying the highest standards of business ethics and a forward-thinking mindset, we believe everything is within our reach – and yours In this role you will have the following daily key responsibilities: This position reports to the Space Central Procurement Organization and requires the selected candidate to work with Supply Chain to perform miscellaneous overhead functions such as invoice processing, PO closeouts activity, and vendor Exostar registration assistance. This position is in a fast-paced and high-volume environment. The selected candidate must be able to work in a team atmosphere, handle multiple tasks with competing priorities, meet critical deadlines, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. To be successful, the individual must be able to develop effective relationships with teammates, buyers, management, and supplier contacts. Will be required to update and maintain records and tracking databases with the most up to date status. The role requires preparation and presentation of critical item status to Management. Requires adaptability to rapidly changing priorities and providing detailed and prompt responses with appropriate solutions. Must be able to interface with senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Experience in, or exposure to supply chain management.
  • Experience within a team environment, working in a fast-paced, high volume setting.
  • Possess English excellent communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Outstanding interpersonal, customer service skills, telephone etiquette, and written correspondence.
  • Experience with SAP P2P or similar ERP Software
  • Ability to perform as a team player with other Buyers as well as interacting with all levels of management and support personnel
  • Ability to maintain objectivity while performing multiple tasks while under pressure to meet customer requirements; self-motivated; takes initiative
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
