What You’ll Do As a Procurement Operation Manager, you’ll play a vital role in HP’s global supply chain, ensuring our air freight operations run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll work with teams across the world, manage relationships with freight partners, and help deliver on our promise of excellence to customers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience working virtually with global teams across different time zones.
  • Language skills: English required
  • Ability to provide innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Results-oriented, agile learner, and digitally fluent.

Nice To Haves

  • Chinese and Thai are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee global air freight capacity planning and operational strategy, collaborating with factory, origin, and destination teams.
  • Manage a network of freight forwarders and charter partners to meet delivery and cost goals.
  • Monitor and report on air freight delivery and cost KPIs.
  • Ensure sufficient air capacity through annual RFQs, ad hoc charters, and spot buys.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and solutions, building strong relationships with carriers and charter companies.
  • Enable key supply chain initiatives with innovative air freight solutions.
  • Lead complex supply chain categories, developing and executing sourcing strategies that support HP’s vision and goals.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration across global teams and time zones.
  • Champion digital fluency and customer-centricity in every aspect of procurement.
