About The Position

The Procurement & Inventory Control Specialist supports the CA Aftermarket group through procurement of products and supplies, inventory coordination and management, and various operational support activities. This role ensures accurate inventory levels, effective purchasing processes, and strong vendor and internal coordination.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, inventory control, or a similar role
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, data management)
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and cross-functional environment
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in automotive manufacturing or distribution preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels across fee, consignment, and KY warehouse locations; adjust and order stock as needed
  • Lead physical inventory activities, including cycle counts and discrepancy investigations
  • Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of part numbers, units of measure, and product details
  • Prepare and maintain pricing, delivery, and inventory records
  • Interface with warehouse teams on inventory levels, receipts, labeling, and packaging requirements
  • Verify incoming shipments, invoices, and freight costs against purchase orders and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding damaged or incorrect shipments and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly procurement plans and support forecasting efforts
  • Maintain and support the item database; assist with system training as needed
  • Identify and recommend new suppliers and freight forwarders
  • Support office supply management and copier maintenance coordination
  • Assist with promotional item procurement and CSR-related activities
  • Maintain positive working relationships with vendors, customers, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, including J-Sox and accounting standards
  • Support additional departmental activities as needed
