Wieland is hiring a Procurement Intern ! As an intern, you will gain an understanding of strategic & operational procurement processes at a corporate and plant level and get exposure to a variety of different teams, including Capex, Indirect Procurement, Direct Procurement, and Logistics. This role will sit in Wieland's North American headquarters located in Louisville, KY . The ideal intern will have an interest in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, and/or the Metals Industry. Schedule: Anywhere from 20-30 hours per week Pay: $22/hr. Length: Internship will last from May through August, with the opportunity for extensions

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or other business/operations-focused discipline.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Experience using MS Office Suite.
• Desire to learn & grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Operational Buyers, Strategic Buyers, and Logistics on key projects and initiatives.
• Analyze data and generate reports as requested by the Procurement team.
• Prepare and present materials and other documentation using MS Office tools and other systems.
• Research market, suppliers, etc.
• Additional tasks as needed.
