About The Position

Internship Expectations Location: This internship is based in-person at our Gastonia, NC facility. Relocation assistance not available for this position. Start: ASAP Duration: 6-month minimum requirement (Internships can extend up to 24 months) Hours per week: - During School - 15 to 20 hours a week - During Breaks - 20 to 40 hours a week (note - this includes winter, spring and summer breaks) Please include your unofficial transcript in your application

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Packaging Science or Engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically

Nice To Haves

• Power BI and SAP experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Support the Production Material Procurement team and the Global Packaging Material Group Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Contribute to ongoing projects and strategic initiatives.
• Work actively with team on our global standardization within the Packaging material group.
• Benchmark and negotiation activities within the Packaging material group.
• Contribute to procurement documentation and vendor interactions.
• Other duties as assigned.
