About The Position

Procurement Family Manager for P-8 Program Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to join our P-8 Supply Chain Team in Tukwila, Washington . Position Responsibilities: Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools Manages, develops and motivates employees This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Shift: This position is for 1st shift.

Requirements

  • More than 3 years of experience leading supplier contract negotiations
  • More than 3 years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • More than 3 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
  • Experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred
  • More than 3 years of experience leading a team or program
  • More than 1 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
