About The Position

This position is for a Procurement Engineer on the Supplier Performance team within Global Supply Chain Management. This position will work with subject matter experts for airframe metallic and non-metallic commodities. Specific technical domains include machining, aircraft production tooling and tubing to resolve emerging and complex technical issues affecting component on-time delivery and part shortages. This position works with Global Supply Chain Managers, Technical Subcontract Managers (TSM), Capacity/Rate Readiness, Supplier Risk/Performance Analysis, Supplier Quality, Design Engineering and others to identify global supply chain disruption risks and mitigate existing issues. Supports root cause corrective action (RCCA), supplier evaluations, technical evaluations for suppliers. Supports development of improvement strategies and mitigation plans. This position is in Fort Worth, TX This position requires 30-35% travel to work with suppliers at their facilities, including some potential international travel.

Requirements

Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent engineering experience plus education
Experience using problem solving techniques, tools, and methodologies
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Secret Clearance
