About The Position

Our Global Procurement team is integral to sourcing the direct and indirect materials and services that drive our operations forward. We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Procurement Specialist to lead and support the development and execution of procurement strategies, sustainability initiatives, and supplier relationship management (SRM) programs. This role will play a critical part in aligning procurement operations with corporate goals; environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards; and long-term supplier partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (Sustainability or Finance emphasis preferred)
  • 5+ years' experience in procurement, sustainability, and SRM
  • Strong ESG framework and supplier compliance knowledge
  • Skilled in procurement systems (Oracle, GEP) and data analytics tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional projects and supplier partnerships

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications such as CPSM or CPSD are highly desirable.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or mining sectors.
  • Familiarity with digital procurement transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop procurement strategies for direct and indirect commodities to achieve business goals.
  • Lead sustainability efforts, ensuring supplier ESG compliance and responsible sourcing.
  • Manage SRM programs to enhance supplier relationships, boost performance, and reduce risks.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, sustainability, and legal teams to align procurement with company objectives.
  • Improve procurement processes, tools, and digital systems continuously.
  • Oversee and conduct training for management associates, interns, and facilitate department-wide training initiatives.
