WHAT YOU'LL DO: The Procurement Assistant is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the inventory of medical and dental supplies and materials to ensure efficient operations across all clinics. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and vendor negotiation skills to maintain cost-effective, high-quality purchasing. The Assistant will work closely with dental and medical staff, vendors, and warehouse personnel to ensure the supply chain runs smoothly, prevent overstocking or shortages, and maintain transparency in all purchasing activities. Requirements

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
1-2 years of experience in procurement, medical or dental supply management, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of medical and dental supplies, instruments, and equipment.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Medical and Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, inventory management software, and ERP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Must have a current and valid California driver’s license and the ability to provide proof of personal auto insurance on the vehicle driven during working hours.

Responsibilities

Assist in sourcing, ordering, and replenishing essential supplies, instruments, and consumables.
Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels to prevent stock outs and eliminate overstocking.
Conduct regular inventory audits to track usage patterns and ensure accurate deliveries.
Maintain an up-to-date database of all dental and Medical supplies, suppliers, and prices.
Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers for cost-effective, high-quality materials.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to discuss pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Research new products, equipment, and suppliers to improve purchasing efficiency.
Prepare and submit purchase orders based on clinic needs and budget approvals.
Ensure proper documentation and approvals for all procurement transactions.
Verify received supplies against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
Maintain detailed procurement records, including invoices, receipts, and supplier.
Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure proper storage and handling of Medical and dental supplies.
Implement and monitor systems to track and minimize expired or wasted Medical and dental products.
Analyze supplier pricing and procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure all purchases are made within budget constraints and cost-effective parameters.
