Summary The Procurement Assistant supports procurement operation and administrative tasks in sourcing and purchasing of parts, equipment and services for company projects. Position Profile Non-exempt / Full-time Reporting Relationships The Procurement Assistant reports to the Procurement Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general Computer literacy (required)
• Strong interpersonal skills (required)
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities (required)
• Demonstrates adaptability and a positive attitude when handling new tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with ERP system and global business practices (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Support procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing and preparing POs and RFQs.
• Communicate with vendors on pricing, availability and delivery schedules
• Maintain vendor database and ensure compliance with company policies
• Coordinate with accounts for vendor set up, invoices and payments
• Track shipments, arrange transportation and prepare shipping documents
• Coordinate with project teams on inspecting goods received, report any discrepancies and maintain accurate records
