Previous experience working in a steel fabrication shop or similar production shop environment is desired. For more than 60 years, W. W. Requirements

High School Diploma Required
Able to create basic Microsoft Excel spread sheets and Microsoft Word Documents
Able to pass a drug test
A valid driver's license with no prior offenses prohibiting operating company vehicles/equipment.
Able to work from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with occasional after hours and weekends as needed.
Clean and maintain an orderly work area
Maintain consistent and effective production output levels.
Ability to communicate effectively with managers, co-workers, suppliers and customers
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to operate a forklift

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in a steel fabrication shop or similar production shop environment is desired.

Responsibilities

Place orders with structural steel and material suppliers per bill of material lists
Receive and unload daily steel and material deliveries.
Inventory and store daily deliveries and distribute to appropriate shop personnel
Assemble and palletize fabricated items, material and hardware.
Create and maintain receiving and shipping logs of all materials received and shipped to and from the shop
Schedule and arrange delivery for completed fabricated items and material
Load outgoing deliveries onto shipping trucks
Assist with shop clean-up and general shop duties as needed
Assist shop manager with other duties as needed
