About The Position

Rivet Operations Company (“Rivet”) has an opening for a Procurement Analyst to join our rapidly growing team in the Washington DC area. Rivet is an exceptional industry partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and a leader in physical and cyber security, IT management, logistics, supply chain management, process improvement and development. The Procurement Analyst / FOIA Support role provides expert-level assistance in procurement analysis and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) compliance for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) operations. This position requires strong analytical skills, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage sensitive information while ensuring compliance with federal acquisition and transparency regulations. Primary Duties: • Provide procurement and contracting support to federal agencies.• Review and analyze contract files and related documentation.• Prepare and maintain documentation required for FOIA responses.• Ensure compliance with federal acquisition and transparency regulations.• Apply analytical strategies to resolve complex procurement and FOIA issues.• Maintain OPSEC and report any security concerns promptly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • Minimum of four (4) years documented experience as a Procurement Analyst or FOIA Specialist supporting a federal agency.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply procurement and transparency regulations (FAR, FOIA, Privacy Act).
  • Experience reviewing contract files and developing documentation for FOIA requests.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain operational security (OPSEC) and handle sensitive information.
  • Analytical and qualitative techniques to resolve complex FOIA issues.
  • Ability to review and analyze spreadsheets and documents in multiple formats.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing procurement-sensitive or law enforcement-sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of government contract-writing software (e.g., PRISM).
  • Position requires applicant to be a US Citizen and able to obtain the required security clearance for the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in business, information management, contracting, or law.
  • In lieu of a degree: Six (6) years of experience in federal procurement or private sector contracting.
